Today, I am throwing back to my long hair days. Photographs were taken back in May earlier this year when the flowers were in full bloom and weather was at its optimal. I cannot say I miss my long hair but I was definitely dieing to chop them off back then. I only waited because I had bridesmaid duties in June.
This throwback look is a bit more on the girly side with soft tones and twirl-able skirt. Since the skirt went passed the knees, I paired the outfit with some nude mules. This is a tip I actually learned from Chriselle Lim on the Chriselle Factor, wearing shoes similar to your skin tones will elongate your legs and make your legs appear longer. Chriselle is one of my favourite bloggers and I’ve learned so much from her about fashion, styling, and life. Don’t you agree she’s the best?
I personally really like mules because they are comfortable and can be dressed up or down. If the skirt was replaced with a pair of boyfriend jeans, it wil give the look an entirely different feel. Then I would hide the chains on my YSL cross body and turn it into a clutch…making it more chic and casual for a girls night out. What are your favourite kind of shoes? Share them below, I’d love to hear from you.
