SPRING is around the corner and I am so looking forward to it! I’ve never really been a fan of cold weather despite living in a city that only has 2 months of hot weather. Ironically, I do love layering up for the Fall season.
The temperatures are hitting the positives now in Toronto (with some minor wind chills) and this calls for transitional wardrobe! It is this time of year that people often get sick because of the drastic change in temperatures. My tip for everyone is to layer up and carry an extra scarf or thin coat around so you can always add on when the sun sets.
I bring to you today a throwback look I wore during my trip to New York back in November. Another transitional time from the cool Autumn temperatures to the chilly Winter. The wardrobe worn at that time is pretty much the same as now, instead it’s for Spring. Layers and my favourite, nylons!
Here are a few tips to elongate your body:
– Wearing black nylons! I know it sounds silly but it adds this black lining and shadows to your legs that actually slims it
– Mix short and long layers to give an elongated visual effect
– Short skirts, you don’t have to wear mini skirts but anything that falls 2-3 inches above your knees would do
Keep Smiling =)
