The final wedding for the year and I am ending it off with a BANG wearing this “to die for” dress!! Having been through 3 weddings already, thinking of wedding outfits is no easy task. I spent weeks browsing online for the perfect dress and I instantly fell in love when I landed on this from Revolve Clothing. I slept on it for a few days before purchasing it, just to make sure I really want it. Mainly because its not cheap. Besides the first wedding where I was part of the bridal party, all my wedding outfits this year had a lace theme. I did not do it on purpose… I am just subconsciously in love with lace.
“For Love and Lemons” are known for their lace and see-through illusion which gives off a very sexual appeal. This dress is actually one of the more conservative ones. What I like most about this dress is the partial open back which reveals just enough skin; appropriate for a wedding.
I wanted to compliment the dress with flowers, but nothing overwhelming. I chose something that is not common and usually forgotten… baby’s breath. These are actually my favourite kind of flowers because of its simplicity. The best part, they are very affordable compared to roses or lilies.
Personally, I LOVE how intricate the bottom of the dress is. I think it adds a sense of sophistication and uniqueness that signifies “For Love and Lemons”. The same cutting and lacing was also used for the quarter sleeves for consistency. Since the lace are pointing downwards, it gives off the illusion of elongating the body; bringing attention downwards.
